‘East’ pays homage to Kylie’s admiration for Te Tai Tokerau coastline. With paintbrush Kylie Rusk has examined and documented the nuances of Te Tai Tokerau’s Eastern coastline, resulting in a collection of works exploring aspects of Bream Bay, Tutukaka, Whangārei Heads and the Bay of Islands. Kylie presents her own perspective and interpretation of the diverse natural beauty of the coastline.
